The colours in this Tara sunset makes it one of my favourite scenes. I love the way the clouds sweep towards the sun over the Lia Fáil and headstone drawing your eye into the picture and to a faraway place. It was January and freezing but the sky was on fire. In ancient Irish mythologhy Tara was the sacred place of dwelling for the Gods and was an entrance to the otherworld. It is clear to see why they believed this.
